I know that nobody will see this, but i am so disappointed with how false the Alestle has been with covering our protests. We talked to your photographer and made sure that any other people looking to report yesterday knew that the people with the bullhorn came there as a separate group. They showed up and blasted the siren at tom when he got set up, and when i told her that by doing that she was not with or by any way helping us she continued to blast the siren at him until campus police told her to stop.

The organized protests that have been out there since october have never yelled or harassed tom. One of our main points of protest is that using speakers to project you voice should not he allowed. They violate the Kimmels rules for expressive activity by generating enough noise to be heard inside of the classrooms of buildings surrounding the quad, interfering with the learning environment of the university. We had people from our protest that needed to leave because of the noise, and my ears are still ringing because this week is a big one for us and we needed to be out there to promote the town hall that we are holding with administration about what to do with the Tom situation. We were trying to get students to see that they could have their voice be heard, but this paper, and the faculty that showed up yesterday, want to speak for them as always.
