The Student Government 2019-20 unofficial election results were approved by a roll-call vote at Monday’s student government senate meeting

As The Alestle previously reported, the unofficial results show Jacob Graham will replace Mackenzie Rogers as student body president, while Rogers will replace Molly Smith as student trustee. Matt Butler, who formerly served as external affairs officer, will soon be stepping into the role of vice president.

The Student Government office is in the process of contacting the write-in results and is still taking applications for College of Arts and Sciences People and Culture Senator.

According to Butler, inductions will take place on May 29.

The meeting also yielded the approval of three travel requests. According to Financial Officer Diego Espinoza, Alpha Psi Lambda will attend a national conference complete with workshops June 21-23. Alpha Psi Lambda’s request for $280.92 was approved.

Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International’s travel request for $600.00 for a conference and retreat, which will span May 22-26, was approved, Mustard Seed’s $600.00 service trip request to Guatemala was also approved. Mustard Seed will embark on the trip May 19 and the group is set to return May 27.

All three requests were approved without objection.
