Chancellor Randy Pembrook announced the latest development in COVID-19 updates: the Spring 2020 commencement ceremony will be postponed.

According to the email, the university is exploring alternative celebration options.

“We are in the process of reviewing alternative activities to recognize student achievement through virtual online celebrations, individual activities or the possibility of a special August commencement,” Pembrook said in the email.

Pembrook also said opinions from those who graduate in May will be sought. The Alestle will continue to update as more information arises.
