Baseball team adds three

Three players were added to the SIUE baseball team's 2009 roster; pitchers Cale Wine and Josh Hoget, as well as middle infielder Michael Hurt.
Wine is a true freshman who played his high school ball at Marissa High in Coulterville.
In 2008, Wine posted a 12-0 with 102 strikeouts, 18 walks and 17 hits in 70 innings pitched. Marrisa High made the state playoffs for the first time since 1986.
Hoget, also a true freshman, attended Belleville East High School in Belleville, where he was named to the All-Southwestern Conference team his junior and senior years.
Hurt transfered from Springfield College where he posted a .359 batting average, 39 runs and 41 runs batted in. He played two seasons at Springfield.
