Sunday not so super for Cougars in MiamiSIUE drops game to Hurricanes, Thursday tilt with OVC leader Eastern Illinois
SIUE suffered a pair of losses this past week, falling short to Eastern Illinois University, the top-ranked school in the Ohio Valley Conference, 74-63 Wednesday and 85-60 to Miami on Sunday.
The Cougars (6-19) were led by freshman forward Michael Herrod in both games, scoring a total of 40 points and 19 rebounds combined in the two games.…

The University of North Dakota stepped up late in a game consisting of 11 ties and 10 lead changes to tame the Cougars 57-50 Sunday.
