Cougar fans got a taste of what the SIUE men's basketball team will look like this year with a season opening win over MacMurray College on Tuesday. After getting out some first game nerves, SIUE cruised to a 94-64 victory over the visiting Highlanders. Admittedly of senior guard Aamir McCleary, the SIUE Cougars were not rolling on all cylinders when they took the Vadalabene Center floor for the first time this season Wednesday. The losses continue to pile up for the Cougar volleyball team. SIUE lacked intensity coming out of the gates, and it cost them, with Southeast Missouri State University spoiling the final home contest of the year for the Cougars, defeating them in four sets, 25-18, 25-14, 22-25 and 25-20.… Post the First Comment
