Quinn was at SIUE to speak to students about issues with MAP grant funding. Senator Dharmesh Balar announced Parking Lot B will soon be free after 8 p.m. at the Student Government meeting on Friday. The Student Senate also met to discuss the approval of one travel request and constitution reviews for three new organizations. SIUE's University Bookstore hosted SIUE alumna Cheryl Jett's release party for her second book, "Edwardsville," on Thursday. They also hosted a signing for Jett's first book, "Alton," when the University Bookstore had its grand opening earlier this year. Jett came to work with Arcadia Publishing, the company that produced both of her books, through friends and colleagues who worked with them in the past.… Post the First Comment
