SIUE to join the DI Ohio Valley Conference
Fifteen months of speculation came to an end Tuesday when SIUE announced it will become the 11th team to join the Ohio Valley Conference, effective July 1, 2008. By a unanimous vote of the OVC Board of Presidents, SIUE was accepted into the conference. Senator's absence stalls Student Senate

The Student Government met Friday to hear program and travel requests but could not vote due to a lack of quorum.
