Students: Put your electronics away

Just when I cry for cell phone courtesy, somebody answers. Life can't be better right now. The Morris University Center's Starbucks answered that call by banning cell phone or MP3 player usage while ordering coffee and other goods. Iran deserves sanctions for their defiance

Could the tides be changing in diplomacy with Iran? In August 2006, the United Nations Security Council placed sanctions on Iran, demanding that it cease its uranium enrichment program. Are hand scanners necessary?

For those who are unaware, SIUE Housing has upgraded residence hall security to Fort Knox status. Apparently the campus is so crime-ridden that we need hand scanners to ensure our safety while checking in at the front desk. Those hand scanners are being tested in Woodland Hall due to "residents repeatedly violating the guest policy," according to Housing Director Michael Schultz.… Post the First Comment
