The SIUE School of Nursing is branching out. A second facility has opened in Springfield and is the first outside the Edwardsville campus to offer a master's degree program and a program for registered nurses to earn a bachelor of science degree. SIUE Emerita Professor of Political Science Suzanne Jacobitti, 61, died Thursday, May 9, 2002, at Alton Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jacobitti, an Alton native retired in 1997 after 27 years of service to SIUE. During her career, she was the dean of the old College of Social Sciences for four years.… Post the First Comment

The water on campus may look a bit dark later this week, but there's nothing to worry about. The SIUE water tank will be shut down for cleaning and inspection Wednesday evening and Thursday and Friday.
