EUE Grant permits food consortium on campus

First year community engagement graduate assistant Brittany Buchanan, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, works to fill up weekly lunches for those in need of the campus kitchen. Her program is part of Campus Kitchens' national effort to provide food to people that either can't afford enough food or live in food deserts. Buchanan tried to revitalize SIUE's division after trying to start a kitchen at an undergraduate college in Chicago.
