One of the funniest shows to ever come to NBC, Community, came to a close in 2015 after six seasons. The show follows a hilarious cast of characters, including Chevy Chase, Ken Jeong, Danny Pudi and Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino), who form a study group at their community college. Throughout the seasons, the group of misfits bond over the most over-the-top and ridiculous circumstances that happen on the Greendale Community College campus.


4. “Rick and Morty”

If you have not seen Rick and Morty yet, you are seriously missing out. Not only is it one of the best comedy shows to ever come to television, but it is also one of the best shows television has ever produced. Rick and Morty is a mixture of adventure and comedy in the most perfect way. It is about a genius grandpa named Rick and his grandson Morty going on fast-paced adventures across the universe, encountering plenty of crazy characters and storylines along the way. So far, two seasons are out, but a third is on the way. Make sure you are caught up before season three comes out this summer.


3. “Parks and Recreation”

Perhaps one of the most popular modern TV shows, Parks and Recreation follows a group of Pawnee, Indiana park and recreation department employees through their interactions with the weird members of their small town. The show has a lot of heart, and the tight bond between the characters produces some really funny episodes. In addition to the creative humor, the show also has a lot of interesting subplots that make it easy to binge watch all seven seasons within a couple weeks.


2. “The Office”

Many people consider The Office the funniest show of all time. If you have not seen it yet, it is about Dunder Mifflin, a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The characters, such as Michael Scott, Jim Halpert and Dwight Schrute, are classic characters that have been fan favorites since the show first came out. The best part of The Office is that almost every single episode of every season is golden. There are so many memorable scenes and references throughout the the show that will leave you wanting more.


1. “Arrested Development”

Arrested Development is the funniest show to ever come to television. Yes, it is funnier than The Office. It follows the most dysfunctional family on earth, played by Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, David Cross and other hilarious actors. Jason Bateman’s character, Michael Bluth, takes over the family’s affairs after his father is put in prison. Michael is by far the most level-headed member of the Bluth family, and he has to deal with his crazy family who can not seem to take control of their own lives. The show makes tons of subtle and long-running jokes that last throughout the entire series. It was renewed and finished by Netflix for a fourth season in 2013 after seven years of being off the air, and it was a satisfying conclusion to the funniest show of all time.
